The alphabet is combination of Sleeping, Standing, Slanting and curve lines. For example letter "T" and "L" is written with one standing and one sleeping line, and letter "B" is a combination of a standing line and 2 bumpety lines.
Try to follow the sequence and teach your children's accordingly.

Combination of 1 Sleeping and 1 Standing line:- Letters "L" and "T"
Combination of 2 or more sleeping and standing lines: Letters "H" "I" "E" and "F"
Combination of Slants lines: Letters "X" "V" and "W"
Combination of Slants and Sleeping lines: Letters "A" and "Z"
Combination of Slants and Standing lines: Letters "K" "M" "N" and "Y"
Combination of Standing/Slants with Small Curves: Letters "B" "J" "P" "R" "S" and "U"
Big Curves : Letters "O" and "C"
Combination of Lines and Big Curves: Letters "D" "G" and "Q"
